Situated in the charming Burgundian village of Bussières (71960), you will find La Maison des Iris.

This property offers a unique location in southern Burgundy, bordering the Beaujolais region. With direct access to world-class wines, stunning scenery, a rich history, and beautiful locations, it's all within cycling distance of renowned wine villages such as Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé, Saint-Vérand, and Vergisson, as well as picturesque villages like Milly Lamartine, La Roche Vineuse, Verzé, and Igé.

Situated directly on the greenway between Cluny, with its rich historical past, and Macon, with its beautiful quay on the Saône and its "voie bleue" (blue waterway), it's the ideal starting point for walks with ever-changing surprises and challenges, such as a hike to the top of "La Roche de Solutré." All of this is in close proximity to a supermarket (Super-U), several bakeries, a pharmacy, and more.

The stone maisonette dates back to the 18th century and has been renovated with great taste and care. The authenticity of the house has been preserved, while modern conveniences have been added for contemporary comfort.

Entering through the gate, you'll find yourself in the courtyard. In this walled courtyard, you can "live like God in France": relax in the lounge on the wooden terrace with breathtaking views of the vineyards, refresh yourself in the heated pool, or enjoy a delicious meal with a glass of wine on the covered terrace.

The lower 12-acre garden belongs to 'La Maison des Iris': children can play here to their heart's content; there is also parking for three cars.

The house offers every comfort for eight people: four bedrooms and two bathrooms with a shower, sink, toilet, bidet, hairdryer, and towels. One bathroom and one bedroom open onto a covered terrace.

There's also a fully equipped kitchen: a stove with an extractor hood, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator and a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a Nespresso and coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle. Also provided are herbs and spices, kitchenware, and dishwashing products. There's also a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and a large freezer.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and partially in the walled courtyard. In the living room, which has direct access to the terrace, you can watch television, browse tourist information about the area, read a book, or simply enjoy a pleasant time together.

The furnishings and decor reflect a pleasant blend of contemporary and traditional styles. We've prepared the house for you to enjoy. In short, there's something for everyone at 'La Maison des Iris' and in this region. You're welcome to spend a wonderful and relaxing holiday.
